Thursday night is our welcome reception and cocktail hour. We will be enjoying wine and hors d’oeuvres at the Deep Sea Tasting Room on Stearns Wharf, Santa Barbara’s main pier. Enjoy Deep Sea and the brilliant company of the NeuroField tribe over stunning views of the waterfront, beaches, and mountains that make SB so enchanting.
Two airport options are available. Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) or Los Angeles International (LAX). LAX tends to be less expensive to fly into, but it is a 90 minute drive north to Santa Barbara. The Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) is a short 10 minute drive to downtown, where the conference is located.
Traveling FROM the Los Angeles Airport
There are many options for housing while in Santa Barbara. However, hotels closest to the conference site will be more expensive this time of year.
The least expensive option is generally AirBnB, which is a house sharing service where you can rent a room or a house in Santa Barbara for the weekend. You have the option to team up and group book a house that is near the conference location. These places tend to average around $100/night per person for groups and there are many options available.
